University of Western Australia McCusker Centre for Citizenship Intern Nicola Giaconia is undertaking an ambitious project to assess the economic and social impact of REED in regional Western Australia. This research will provide valuable evidence to inform our future advocacy efforts.
After studying at the University of Milan, Nicola travelled to Western Australia where he worked in the Pilbara region before commencing a Masters Degree in International Relations at UWA. Nicola will be working part-time in the Welshpool office and visiting a number of REED centres.
Jill Cameron, assisted by Board member Jacquie Hutchinson, will be supervising the internship. Nicola is very keen to learn about REED and the regions where we work. Please make Nicola welcome!
