Join the REED Board

  |   News

REED Inc has an exciting opportunity available to those interested in becoming a volunteer Board member, who can help guide REED as it transforms the way in which child care services are delivered across regional WA.

To help achieve a balanced and broad skill matrix of competencies we are looking for professionals with an interest in child development, education and care, and/or business strategy and development. Those with a legal, finance, regional childcare or marketing communications background will be well regarded, as would applications from individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.

The REED Board meets every two months. Meetings are generally hosted from Perth, a regional centre such as Narrogin or Northam or electronically. Board members can choose to attend meetings in person or electronically. Two mandated sub-committees support the Board with additional committees established to meet short term needs as required. It is anticipated that Board members will also elect to sit on at least one of the REED sub-Committees, who meet a minimum of four times per year.

If you are interested in becoming part of REED as we continue our exciting growth phase, please express your interest by completing a questionnaire and providing a CV demonstrating your expertise and the contribution you could bring to the REED Board by COB Friday 18 September 2020.

To request the questionnaire, please contact Philippa Gardener, REED Business Development Manager via philippa.gardener@reedwa.org.au or (08) 6832 3825.

Email enquiries to the REED Chair, Helen Creed via helen.creed@reedwa.org.au are welcome.
